Henry snoozing on the opposite side of the couch, waiting for me. I'll let him know when it's time for bed. The television says "Chromecast, No signal (is it on?)" and has a deep ocean blue with spiral swirls around a circled triangle play button. Incredible that we have so ingrained these symbols. I wonder what it must be like to encounter a play button without knowing it's a play button.
The television goes black.
It is 1:17 AM as I write this, on a Friday.
Tonight, a show. Small Talk, Big Show! First Friday of the month.
As the old adage says, if you advertise, they will come. I hope this continues to be the case.
Max is curled up on Henry's bed. Henry's bed is a hefty crochet creation that I made during the pandemic. It was far too expensive to make for me to consider making them for others. But, as a dog bed, it has really held up. Even works for cats, as evidenced by Max's chosen nap space.
It is the most loved thing I have ever made, I think.
I really should head to bed.
I think I will.
